Your responsibilities

As an Operations Technician, you work broadly with operations, supervision, maintenance, and administration related to the depot facility. You play an important role in ensuring a safe, efficient, and well-functioning operation.

In the role, you will among other things:

• Perform daily supervision of the depot and facility
• Work with operations, maintenance, and technical monitoring
• Handle valves, equipment, and technical installations
• Document and report on operations
• Work in various business and operational systems
• Handle invoices and administrative tasks
• Collaborate with contractors and external suppliers
• Communicate with drivers, transport companies, and other partners
• Participate in safety work and standby duties
• Take part in training and competence development

The work involves both independent responsibility and close collaboration with colleagues, where safety is always a natural part of everyday life.

Worth knowing

The position is located at St1's depot in Gävle, where you will become part of a smaller team that works closely together. The work environment is characterized by collaboration, responsibility, lack of hierarchy, and high safety awareness. You will also have contact with colleagues at other depots around Sweden.

The role includes standby duties, which means you need to be able to arrive within one hour when called for standby assignments. You will receive a thorough introduction and training to get started in a secure and structured manner.

Our expectations

We are looking for you who have experience from, for example, process industry, industrial operations, port or stevedoring, transport and logistics, operations with high safety requirements, or handling of fuels and similar products. You have good technical understanding, experience in operations or maintenance, and enjoy solving problems in a structured and safe way.

You are computer literate and accustomed to working in digital systems. For the role, it is required that you master Swedish and English in speech and writing, hold a B driving license, and have the possibility to participate in standby duties.

As a person, you are responsible, technically curious, and flexible. You have a natural safety mindset, good service sense, and thrive in a smaller team where everyone helps each other. You appreciate the variation between practical work, planning, administration, and problem-solving, and you are happy to take initiative to drive the work forward.
